✨ Getting Around the Magic!

Your Guide to Disney Transportation 🚡🚌⛴️🚗

One of the best things about staying at Walt Disney World? You don't need a rental car to explore the magic!

Disney offers complimentary buses, boats and aerial gondolas to help you travel between its parks, resorts and entertainment areas.

And if you'd rather travel in polka-dotted style, there are even Minnie Mouse-inspired private rides!

Here's how to get around without accidentally ending up on the wrong side of Walt Disney World.

Skyliner

Your Highway in the Sky!

🚡✨ The Disney Skyliner

Imagine floating high above Walt Disney World in a colorful gondola, watching the resorts, lakes and treetops drift by beneath you.

No traffic. No parking. Just beautiful views and a little Disney magic.

Welcome to the Disney Skyliner!

This is one of our favorite ways to travel around Disney World, and we're especially excited that two of our wedding resort options have convenient access to it!

🏨 Our Skyliner-Connected Wedding Resorts

🌈 Disney's Pop Century Resort

Pop Century has its own Skyliner station, shared with Art of Animation, located on the bridge over Hourglass Lake.

From here you can travel to:

  • 🎬 Hollywood Studios — transfer at Caribbean Beach.
  • 🌐 EPCOT — transfer at Caribbean Beach, traveling through the Riviera station.

🎡 Disney's BoardWalk Inn

BoardWalk doesn't have a station directly at the hotel, but there's one a short walk away at EPCOT's International Gateway.

From there, you can ride the Skyliner toward Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century and Hollywood Studios.

✨ Wedding-week tip: Guests staying at Pop Century can use the Skyliner to reach the BoardWalk area without needing a park ticket! Simply travel toward EPCOT, exit at International Gateway and walk to BoardWalk Inn.

That means you can come explore the BoardWalk, visit restaurants or meet up with family without entering EPCOT.

🗺️ How the Skyliner Works

Think of Caribbean Beach Resort as the main connecting station.

From Pop Century:

  • To Hollywood Studios: Pop Century → Caribbean Beach → Hollywood Studios.
  • To EPCOT: Pop Century → Caribbean Beach → Riviera → EPCOT International Gateway.
  • To BoardWalk: Follow the EPCOT route, then walk from International Gateway to BoardWalk Inn.

From BoardWalk:

Walk to the EPCOT International Gateway Skyliner station, then ride toward Caribbean Beach to connect with other routes.

The Skyliner is completely free to ride! You don't need a park ticket just to board.

🌟 Why We Love It

  • Beautiful aerial views of Disney World.
  • Adorable character-themed gondolas.
  • Convenient access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
  • An easy way to visit other Skyliner resorts.
  • A fun experience even when you're not heading into a park.

☀️ A Few Things to Know

The Skyliner operates on a schedule connected to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios park hours.

It may temporarily stop during lightning, severe weather or maintenance.

And while the cabins have ventilation, they do not have traditional air conditioning. Remember, it's July in Florida!

✨ Kasi & Marcus Tip: Ride the Skyliner at sunset if you get the chance. The views can be absolutely gorgeous.

A Little Transportation Advice From Kasi & Marcus

Disney World is a BIG place.

Like, much bigger than you probably think.

But getting around can actually be part of the fun!

Ride the Skyliner just for the views.

Take a boat across Crescent Lake.

Enjoy the air conditioning on a Disney bus.

Or treat yourself to a Minnie Van when your feet have officially retired for the evening.

And remember:

You don't need a rental car to enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation.

With a little planning, Disney's transportation system can take you almost everywhere you'll want to go.

Just leave yourself plenty of time, especially when you're coming to celebrate with us!

See you real soon! 🏰🚡⛴️🎀✨
